The are 8 storied, historical educational institutions that make up the northeast’s “Ivy League”. Steeped in history, mystery, and, well, of course, ivy, these universities have given us not only the greatest minds from the most powerful families, but arguably the coolest fashion, in Americana.

The first edition of the Ivy Lookbook was dedicated to Yale. Now I’m throwing Wanderset’s founder Greg Selkoe a bone here and including his alma mater as school number 2. Let’s take a trip up the Mass Pike to Cambridge, and explore the fashion of Kennedy, Obama, and the Roosevelt family names. There’s gunna be a hell of alot of crimson and gold, distain for navy and white, and both pride and distain combined when you bring up Mark Zuckerberg.

5. COMME des GARCONS PLAY “POLKA DOT CARDIE”

Both the crimson and the beige/gold color way are represented here in this artsy, yet sartorial cardigan by Comme des Garcons. Beautifully constructed and uniquely pattered, this one is ideal for the Cambridge man.

4.  LACOSTE OXFORD CASUAL BUTTON UP

Lacoste and the Kennedy’s have had a long standing relationship and association. The French athleisure giant and American Ivy life style have been rather visually synonymous with each other, and that affinity has endured, and endeared, for 70 years.

3. CARHARTT WIP NAVY REBEL PANT

Partly skinny jean, and partly fitted slack, these pants, and the color navy, perfectly compliment the ensemble as a whole, and cuffed, sit perfectly atop our next choice, the stellar and classic Clark Wallabee.

2. CLARK WALLABEE BOOTS

These are the classics. Understated, yet ridiculously upmarket and premium, nothing ties this Harvard look all together the way a pair of Walla’s can.

1. GUCCIGHOST SHAWL SCARF

We couldn’t resist. A piece of highly coveted GucciGhost in actual Harvard colors was too much to pass up. Plus accessories are life in autumn in New England.
