For the “City that never sleeps”- the W Hotel sure is filled every night with people looking to spend top dollar for a fucking place to sleep.

Manhattan may need to rethink their unofficial tourism slogan.

THE CXX collaborates with W New York Hotels on an exclusive capsule collection. Shop The CXX + W Hotels NYC now here. Inspired by the city that never sleeps, the concept of luxury hotels offering not only comfort, but style (think robes and such) and Manhattan’s storied art and indie culture, this collab effort is unique.

Passionate and provocative, the iconic W New York offers a soulful sanctuary within the city – close to museums, Times Square, Broadway and the business district. It’s Times Square location is iconic by address alone, let alone all the class and swank they’ve packed it with. The rich history, storied events and even more storied guests make even Marmount LA pale in comparison, and that’s saying a lot.

The “Hotel NYC life” is a one off relaxation wear. If there was an art show at MoMa – this would adorn walls and fill glass boxes.

Here’s 5 essentials from that capsule, available now, right here on Wanderset.

100% Cotton Brushed Flannel. Full Back +Front Chest Embroidery. Front Pockets. Vintage Rope Tie Fastening. Ideally this is what you’d wear as a LES rich kid waiting for your weed delivery man to shoot over on his bike, while listening to both Charlie Parker and Curren$ey, with “Cruel Intentions” on TV.

One part cropped leg slacks, one part joggers with the cut set differently, and one part circus or marching band leader costume, these are what you would imagine both Kieth Shafrazi and Nan Golden marched around SoHo in, before it was what you think SoHo is now. Socks and sobriety at brunch optional.

With both elements of streetwear-ism and the artwork style of yesteryear’s musical theater posters at work, this piece is subtly Manhattan all rolled into one. The smirk of the have nots and the smile of those who were told by the Times to see one last run from Tommy Tune are all here. You just have to be from here to really get it.

The even higher cropped version of the aforementioned SoHo Pant. Perfect for meandering the city streets in search of a french roast coffee and a copy of the Post, while wondering what else besides your dignity and your charger that you may have left in the Uber last night.

If it was any more Normcore, it would have made the wardrobe for a Seinfeld episode. The Dad Hat craze is no where near over, in fact, it’s just beginning to trickle to different lifestyles, sub-sets and demos, and this is one of them where it seems most appropriate. Yellow cab not included. Nor are Ranger tickets, Billy Joel tickets, or a table at Bagatelle Brunch. Knicks tickets, however, probably are included.
