Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN” Style Guide Is On Wanderset. Shop The Looks Now.

Though there are still a few months left in 2017, it seems pretty clear that “DAMN” the acclaimed release from Kendrick Lamar, is among the most important albums of the year. The fans agree by metrics alone, as the record has officially clocked in 25 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard charts. Brands like Freeman Plat were highly influenced by this resurgence of emotional, political and social depth in a genre all but dominated by the lack of substance in recent memory. Kendrick’s reach transcended music. In honor of this feat, we at Wanderset have dropped the DAMN style guide and look book. Be humble. Shop the K Dot looks from “DAMN” now. 5. REEBOK CLASSIC CLUB C T 85’s The classic from K Dot’s collaborators at Reebok. There have been several co-dropped releases between Kendrick and the British footwear giant, but they all stem from the T…

SMOKEPURPP Is Wanderset AF.

Meet one of the hottest emerging stars in the country. Surrounded by semi-automatics, pills, cohorts with neon colored dreads, lean in his fanta, Audis, and millions of plays and hits on his records that radio would never in a million years spin. He doesn’t give a fuck. This is SmokePurpp. The 19-year-old Miami rapper started gaining serious traction in the summer of 2016, when he dropped two videos, “WOKHARDT” and “Ski Mask” within a month of each other. Booming production and a garbled delivery, half mumble rap and half aggro bark, lo-fi indie mixing contrasted by a love of upmarket urban luxe fashion gave way to increased attention. The recent emergence of that South Florida Soundcloud trap scene hasn’t hurt either. SpaceGhostPurpp, Denzel Curry, Kodak Black, Pouya and XXXTENTACION are all links in the same chain that was first forged by Trick Daddy, elongated by Rick Ross, and polished to…

Post Malone’s Rock Star Look is Available on Wanderset.

Post Malone, the Dallas native who provided the soundtrack to summer 2015 with his indie breakout “White Iverson” has teamed up with Atlanta’s 21 Savage and broke the internet. According to The Verge, the song has broken Apple Music’s single-week streaming record with 25 million plays. DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” previously held the record.  The song, produced by Louis Bell and Tank, is the lead single off Post’s up next sophomore album Beerbongs and Bentleys, due out early winter. https://soundcloud.com/postmalone/rockstar-feat-21-savage Apple Music has a long history of supporting Post ever since he blew up with his breakout single “White Iverson.” “We just have a long history of supporting Post Malone, even before he got signed,” Carl Chery, Apple Music’s head of curation, tells The Verge. “‘White Iverson’ was being heavily supported in iTunes—that song is old enough that Apple Music wasn’t even live yet. We were supporting him heavily back then, and we did the same…

DJ Five is a Real Vegas Golden Knight with Turntables and T-Shirts.

When DJ Five isn’t spinning some of the biggest celeb driven venues in Las Vegas, you can find him at the gym early in the morning or hanging out with his nephew and his parents. “This is the real Vegas- that whole Sin City shit is for tourists”. Is it a city where you can find a party at any time of day, but life can also be pretty chill and consistent. And a market on the rise in ways Bugsy Seigle couldn’t image. There is a growing indie music scene, backpack rap and skate board community, and avant-garde art. There are cool things happening now that don’t involve cliches like Joe Peschi losing his fucking shit, the Bunny Ranch, pyro-circus dinner theater, Kris Angel-ing, or blowing the 401 K at a penny slot. DJ  Five, hailing originally from LA, has been dj-ing since 15, and in recent years, has…

Get The Look : AXL ROSE Edition

Before there was Conor McGregor, Kanye, Diddy, Marilyn Manson and fuck it, even Justin Bieber – the 2013 wild as shit pissing in the mop bucket version- there was the GOD. Axl. Axl Rose, lead singer and hotel trashing maniac frontman of Guns N Roses, was an icon. People hated him. People loved him. He loved himself and hated people. He fronted one of the best bands of all time, penning hits like “Welcome To The Jungle” that still pump dudes up to sucker punch a cop in the face at hockey games all over the world. He had his own distinct voice, style, and signature way to wreck stages and lives on a 10 year steam roll thru pop culture. That was years before Post Malone decided he was also a “rock star”.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOXDbMne6Ek Now, as today’s pop and hiphop stars are seen frequently rocking his band (as well…

Marilyn Manson + Lil Uzi Vert Are Dropping A Song & We Styled The Video.

The internet has been made aware. It’s officially a new era. Growing up in the 90’s – I remember Marilyn Manson was the anti-fucking-everything. He was anti pop. Anti hiphop. Anti God. Anti Hero. Anti You and Anti Me. He was the most controversial goth metal figure of the era, even taking his stage name from two iconic dual spectrum pop culture icons. One was the biggest sex symbol of all time, the other a brutal satanic serial killer. He roasted Bill O’reilly on his own show after he was blamed for causing the mass school shooting at Colombine in 99. Now, it’s 20 years removed from his wild heyday. And he’s still breaking necks with his wild card moves. This time however, it’s because his most recent single, a record entitled “WE KNOW WHERE YOU FUCKING LIVE.”- is set to feature the flavor of the moment trap rapper Lil…
