Knock Out Everything with YORK’s Lion Hearted Boxing Line.

Boston is a fighting town. The image of the hardworking Irish Catholic Southie boy in his Red Sox cap, Celtics jersey, arms adorned in Shamrocks and celtic cross ink is culturally iconic. It’s New England’s version of Americana. If you know anyone from The Bean, you know that guy. Or, you at least know someone that does know that guy. Sam Adams brewery, a holy reverence for both trash talking Larry Bird and Whitey Bulger alike, dimly lit Pubs that open early to show Premier League matches, and a vicious hatred for the Muthafaukin’ Brawnx Baumahs are all equally real in Bashtan.  So is boxing. The fighting Irish don’t only play in South Bend. So it makes perfect sense for Boston bred brand YORK Athletics MFG, to embrace that fighting spirit. York was founded by Mark McGarry, who spent time at both Nike and Puma in high level positions.  As the head of…

5 Men’s Bags to Add to Your Fall Fashion Collection

A lot of men use a standard backpack as their go to man bag, but some of us want something more exciting – something with a little more edge and eye catching qualities. There are times when men’s bags are painfully simple and bland, resulting in a multitude of the same concepts in a limited array of styles, colors, and overall design. This gripe is thankfully resolved thanks to some dope brands like GucciGhost and IISE that offer bags to compliment your attire no matter the occasion, and you can find them here on Wanderset. Varying from subtle to elaborate, there are a plethora of designs and styles of men’s bags to choose from. Need a simple backpack for the work week? No problem. Need an eye catching designer pouch for an upscale event? We’ve got that too. Whatever your style needs are, there’s a bag out there that will…

ELLESSE Throws Back On The Track Like An 80’s DJ.

Ellesse, the Italian sport wear line has stitched amazing pieces for athletes and weekend leisure seekers since 1959. In the late 70’s and 80’s, the line was rocked by everyone from European soccer stars to skiers, to tennis players, to Bronx rappers. Sure the line was Euro leaning. That’s to be expected by nature of it’s origins, but it’s reach was that of what we would associate with today’s quite global street wear scene.  The brand’s availability ranged from Barney’s in Manhattan to tiny little shops on Fairfax in LA, to the European equivalents of Casbahs, to sporting stores, and the response was equal at all addresses. Erik B and Rakim wore it proudly. Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith followed suit. So did the Nazionale di calcio Italiana.  The line had a heyday for sure. And we at Wanderset are going to extend it, bring it back, and put…

This Is War. The Best of LA’s ZANEROBE Camo Capsule.

Camo has become the go to pattern for 2017. From BAPE’s Summer “Tiger Camo” motif, to the overplayed hand of “Desert Storm” and “Hoth Ice Camo” seen on everything from dollar store snapbacks to Euro-Luxe scarves well above a sane entry price point, it’s everywhere. L.A. street mod line ZANEROBE stuck to the roots. They forwent the crazy color ways and stuck to the ballsy original. In the city of flashing lights and loud noises, the dimly lit pub with classic is the only cornerstone. Same shit here. The City Of Angels has been fucking on it this year with streetwear, with brands like For Those Who Sin  and Bow3ry steam rolling in 2017. There’s some outside of the traditional camo pieces from ‘Robe that would fit the aforementioned alternatives, but for this, and they’re done very well, for sure. We just chose to put you up on the illest of…

Celebrity Look Book & Style Guide : October Edition

We always look to the influencers. They wouldn’t even have that title if they’re juju didn’t somehow rub off. We are subconsciously influenced by them and their style “guides” more often than not, barring those who exclusively shop shop at WalMart. Even then, you may be influenced by Will Farrell in Talladega Nights. We at Wanderset knew that, and we aimed a bit higher. We created “Set Members” so the real influencer could be one on one with you, without their celebrity mannequins. We netted cats like Ariel G., Sneaker Steve, Andrew Weitz, and more. These guys are the reason you even see style trends emerge, or your favorite celebrity mannequins rocking what they do. We believe in the power of the man behind the curtain. For this article, we’re going back on that. We’re gunna be your plug to the middle man, the celebrity. Why? Cuz TMZ snatched the…

All Black Sweater Weather in Your NBHD.

With all due respect to my homies in The Neighborhood, it’s not “Sweater Weather” in So-Cal. Maybe by the time the Rose Bowl and all the New Years Day shit happens, it will be, but not now. For the rest of the country, it is. And this for the majority. Cuz majority rules. So do these all black sweaters. So does O’Doyle. Fall is probably the best season for fashion. You can layer, scarf up, bring back leather jackets, cuff jeans and rock boots. You can go Ivy League or crush the wine and cheese party. Play this while you shop the looks to rock in your NBHD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCdwKhTtNNw 5. FOR (All) THOSE WHO SIN, Here Are Your Church Clothes.

FTWS : UNCENSORED SELF EXPRESSION FOR THE OBSOLETE SOUL; RAW SKETCHES, RAW EMOTIONS AND RAW GARMENTS. THE PIECES CONSTRUCTED ARE DARK POETIC CLOAKS MADE TO COMFORT THE LOST DURING UNCANNY REALITIES. FTWS IS A DARK REALM THAT HIDES BETWEEN SEXUAL FANTASY AND FALSE RELIGION. IT IS AN UNIDENTIFIED EMOTION WITH THE EVERLASTING POWER TO STAIN THE MINDS OF SOCIETY. FOUNDED IN 2015, FTWS WAS CREATED TO CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUO. IN A WORLD THAT BLINDLY ACCEPTS FABRICATED PROMISES, FTWS DOES NOT. THE LABEL WILL NOT ABIDE BY THE RULES, AND BELIEVES THAT BUREAUCRACY SOLELY EXISTS TO INSTILL FEAR IN HUMANITY. That’s how the anti-establishment Los Angeles label describes themselves. It’s less of a traditional bio, and more of a mission statement you’d hear from V For Vendetta if it was co-written by Sid Vicious and Abby Hoffman, and edited by Hunter S. Thompson. For Those Who Sin has cultivated a…

Kill It At This Fall’s Wine + Cheese Party. The Definitive Style Guide For A Rad Ass Gent.

A huge aspect of developing into a grown ass man is the social. There’s no way around it. One day, your mom just stops getting calls from like, the other moms about so-and-so’s 10th birthday pizza party, and we start getting sleek little invites on foiled card stock to events at vineyards, venues and social clubs with swankier zip codes. These things go two ways. Way 1: They’re a nightmare. It’s either elitist in the “one percent” way, or the trust-fund-kids-with-beards way, and for most of us, it’s southbound and down like Kenny Powers from the jump. We can’t compete with the small talk flexing, nor do we care about stocks, prep school lacrosse, charity gallery shows, or the cold brew coffee infused craft beer that the guy who somehow looks like fucking Halsey is raving about. Way 1 can be humbling in the worst form. Way 2: Co-worker stiffs in…

All Blue Everything. The Casual Libra Lookbook.

Blue is the color associated with the zodiac sign Libra. So here is an all blue outfit, from some of our coolest lines. This post is not endorsed by the New York Giants, Avatar characters, Italian soccer, smurfs, the nation of Sweden (with apologies to the color yellow) and/or any Pfizer pill. They seem to all be blue from Pfizer. Creatures of habit, Pfizer. 5. CXX vs The W Hotel SS17 BALL CAP 4. COMME Des GARCONS “PLAY NAVY” T 3. Dystopian Future Anti-Hero Now Has A Uniform. This Is BOMB Clothing.

BOMB Clothing, the brainchild of Canadian designer Devon Mehle has dropped from the future. The entire line feels like if Aeon Flux, Ghost In The Shell, or Bladerunner 2049 had a mysteriously ingenious baby with anyone on OVO Sound. It’s long slim fits, utilitarian futura aesthetic, and Pavlovian techcore graphics lend themselves to wardrobe as much as style, but its’t that where streetwear, as a culture, is going? We selected the 5 hottest items from our north of the border bros, and you don’t even need to wait until 2045 to cop them. Gents, this is BOMB. Take shelter. 5. BOMB GREEN SQUAD JERSEY HOODIE Futura grid text, awesome use of sleeve mapping, and a deep militant shade of green makes this one a roster pick. 4.
