#Wandersetting : Rep Your City In These Geo-Proud Pieces.

Who doesn’t like representing where they’re from?  As 90’s throwback becomes mod even more so in 2018, these fire drops from various lines on Wanderset are ideally on trend, and allow the wearer to rep from The A to The Bean. NEW YORK: RCNSTRCT 90’s “NY YANKEES PRO PLAYER” DUGOUT JACKET We all had these in elementary school. Well, those jerks that were lucky 90’s Yanks fans. Y’all had Jeter, Bernie and Paul O’Neil in their primes. Unreal. UNITED KINGDOM: REPRESENT BLACK “ENGLAND” HOODIE Feel like Posh Spice on match day, mates. BOSTON: SQONDER 90’s “BOSTON BIRD” VINTAGE T If you’re from New England, you know Bird was the first Brady in the north east. Rep for one of the NBA’s all time gods, and put on for the C’s. LOS ANGELES : CARROTS “LA” CREAM MENS T LA based streetwear designer Anwar Carrots…

The Ideal Outfit For Killing It At ART BASEL : The Look + Pieces Are Here.

Art Basel is upon us, and all the Picasso Babies are descending on South Beach for the world’s biggest culture event. Along with the art, the obvious cornerstone and reason for Basel being, the fashion is a very, very close second. The event is populated by those who believe themselves to be a living canvas, with a rather wide range and scope. From Euro luxury to the more outlandish and rebellious, there is no “Basel Look” per se, but an ideal, or ideology. It is with these principals, themes, and motifs in mind that we curated an ideal outfit composite that reflects the spirit and energy of Basel – featuring some of the best designers and brands on The Set. Here it is. Top down. The Hat: DETACHE LABS CIVET 360  The wide brim Fedora is by far the most fitting for the city, season, and energy. The…

6 PM In SoHo. We Hung With NBA Star Draymond Green At Del Toro’s Pop Up in NYC.

Every part of New York City is a labyrinth that is not only it’s own grid on an actual map, but it’s own world inside a world. If you’re not from here, you probably think all of NYC is Times Square, or more recently, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Where dudes on unicycles host Mumford & Sons look-a-like contests at conflict free coffee joints the way Nathan’s hosts hotdog eating contests. There’s far more in The Apple than that. The Village, SoHo, NoHo, The Bowery, St. Mark’s Place, Lower East Side, Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea – these are the parts that had my heart from a young age. There’s a creative energy, a glitz and a fuck you grit that all intersect organically. High fashion white spaces are next to seedy porn theaters. There are iconic bars that, from first impressions, look like a homeless shelter with busted doors, project housing, methadone clinics or…

Latin Trap Is America’s Newest Cultural Export. And It’s A Long Time Coming.

Several months have passed since Hurricane Maria decimated the small island of Puerto Rico. Pictures circulating of the once vibrant Borinqueña filled with rich vegetation, world-renown beaches and Neoclassical architecture now resembles a barren wasteland straight out of a Mad Max movie. A skewed death toll of 900 and counting have been swept under the rug; way more than the “not to shabby” numbers given by President Trump during his pitiful visit to the island. Yeah, the one where he was pompously free-throwing paper towels at Puerto Rican’s with such form that would make Kyrie Irving’s fade away look sub-par at best (YouTube it now and watch the flick of that wrist). Over 70-85% of the land still has no power, a number that fluctuates as power outages continue, and the water has become a source of danger rather than sustenance. Untreated water has been attributed to the recent spike…

Kill It At This Fall’s Wine + Cheese Party. The Definitive Style Guide For A Rad Ass Gent.

A huge aspect of developing into a grown ass man is the social. There’s no way around it. One day, your mom just stops getting calls from like, the other moms about so-and-so’s 10th birthday pizza party, and we start getting sleek little invites on foiled card stock to events at vineyards, venues and social clubs with swankier zip codes. These things go two ways. Way 1: They’re a nightmare. It’s either elitist in the “one percent” way, or the trust-fund-kids-with-beards way, and for most of us, it’s southbound and down like Kenny Powers from the jump. We can’t compete with the small talk flexing, nor do we care about stocks, prep school lacrosse, charity gallery shows, or the cold brew coffee infused craft beer that the guy who somehow looks like fucking Halsey is raving about. Way 1 can be humbling in the worst form. Way 2: Co-worker stiffs in…

All Blue Everything. The Casual Libra Lookbook.

Blue is the color associated with the zodiac sign Libra. So here is an all blue outfit, from some of our coolest lines. This post is not endorsed by the New York Giants, Avatar characters, Italian soccer, smurfs, the nation of Sweden (with apologies to the color yellow) and/or any Pfizer pill. They seem to all be blue from Pfizer. Creatures of habit, Pfizer. 5. CXX vs The W Hotel SS17 BALL CAP 4. COMME Des GARCONS “PLAY NAVY” T 3. The Top 5 Killer Del Toro Drops For Fall

We just wrote a full bio and intro on the homie Matthew  Chevallard. He took the concept, and embodiment of that luxe hotel Southbeach/Europe class leisure, and mixed it with some fresh ass SOHO vs LA fuck-the-corporate-streetwear shit. It’s a sartorial, high brow cultural middle finger steeze. And it’s rad as shit and just what the good doctor ordered. BURGUNDY MOROCCO HIGHTOP CHUKKA Burgundy Bottalato Leather high tops are inspired by the super hip Mediterranean nation. The motif of Camels and abstract design icons, a fresh white Margum sole, and signature Toro heel tab are leather lined, hand made right across the Med in Italy, and would be ideal for a navy blue suit. Cous Cous on these haters. BLACK VELVET CANDY SKULL SLIPPERS Day of the dead kill it in these hotel slippers that could only exist in a resort El Chapo owns and brunch is snorted,…

Del Toro Is The Hippest Luxe Footwear Designer On Earth. Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You.

Del Toro is the luxury lifestyle brand based out of Miami, Florida that we at Wanderset feel you need to discover. It’s not that they’re making everything from luxe slippers with skulls and crossbones, to red quilted high tops – it’s that it all works. It’s not a reach, or far fetched, and it doesn’t come across as a “do too much to be niche” rookie brand. Del Toro is not still feeling itself out, it knows who it is, and it’s unapologetically sarcastic, and sartorial. The brand’s character is equally Euro luxury, South Beach party posh, New England Ivy League, and NYLONKONG street rebellious. At the same damn time.  And it’s all from the mind of northern-Italian born Matthew Chevallard. Originally a men’s brand, Del Toro now produces shoes and accessories for both men and women. Chevallard, President and Creative Director of the brand, was born in Torino, Italy.…

That Post Malone “Rock Star” Look Is Here On Wanderset

Post Malone, the Dallas native who provided the soundtrack to summer 2015 with his indie breakout “White Iverson” has teamed up with Atlanta’s 21 Savage and broke the internet. According to The Verge, the song has broken Apple Music’s single-week streaming record with 25 million plays. DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” previously held the record.  The song, produced by Louis Bell and Tank, is the lead single off Post’s up next sophomore album Beerbongs and Bentleys, due out early winter. https://soundcloud.com/postmalone/rockstar-feat-21-savage Apple Music has a long history of supporting Post ever since he blew up with his breakout single “White Iverson.” “We just have a long history of supporting Post Malone, even before he got signed,” Carl Chery, Apple Music’s head of curation, tells The Verge. “‘White Iverson’ was being heavily supported in iTunes—that song is old enough that Apple Music wasn’t even live yet. We were supporting him heavily back then, and we did the same…
