Immoral Subculture’s Favorite Designer Is BOW3RY

BOW3RY is a direct reaction of the style and subculture we navigate. These are the things that mold us and our brothers and sisters, so that we truly stand out in a sea of over saturation. You are now a member of an immoral subculture. BOW3RY reflects the look and feel of B horror film posters of the 80’s, the first wave of punk and hardcore, 70’s porn, and the seedy garbage underbelly of Los Angeles, where sex for cash, dope needles, skateboarders on speed and pawn shop owners all hold the same cultural sway as the mayor. For the anti-everything DIY loving motherfucker, BOW3RY is the uniform. Here are some of the most rad pieces. YOUTH OF TODAY T The famous picture of Drew Barrymore as a possessed child who has the ability to start blazes with her mind in “Firestarter”, graces this pink t shirt in DIY “mall screen…

Post Malone’s Rock Star Look is Available on Wanderset.

Post Malone, the Dallas native who provided the soundtrack to summer 2015 with his indie breakout “White Iverson” has teamed up with Atlanta’s 21 Savage and broke the internet. According to The Verge, the song has broken Apple Music’s single-week streaming record with 25 million plays. DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” previously held the record.  The song, produced by Louis Bell and Tank, is the lead single off Post’s up next sophomore album Beerbongs and Bentleys, due out early winter. https://soundcloud.com/postmalone/rockstar-feat-21-savage Apple Music has a long history of supporting Post ever since he blew up with his breakout single “White Iverson.” “We just have a long history of supporting Post Malone, even before he got signed,” Carl Chery, Apple Music’s head of curation, tells The Verge. “‘White Iverson’ was being heavily supported in iTunes—that song is old enough that Apple Music wasn’t even live yet. We were supporting him heavily back then, and we did the same…

SURF IS DEAD. And Not Even Eddie Would Go To The Wake.

SURF IS DEAD is a Los Angeles-based label that was created on the broken back of the dying surfing culture. You see, PacSun and all those other lei flowers motif and reclaimed wood mall based “skate and surf” lifestyle stores strangled it. It’s like seeing a Zoo York hoodie at Marshals and calling the whole joint a “streetwear boutique”. Surf clothing brands reinterpret old surf motifs in a modern way while letting the corporate surf culture sink by weight of their own greed. And it’s fucking rad.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_zOvmz6jNU SID has embraced the early 80’s arcade meets DIY left coast aesthetic, where punk rock, lewd visuals, neon decals, reggie ganja, and boardwalk kitch all met to hang ten. We at Wanderset applaud the rebels, the bird flippers, and the ones that defy the norm, repel the grain, and stick to the roots and guns in the face of opposition. Kelly Slater…

Setlist : Essential Fall Boots

Boots are the trendiest item that never seems to go off trend, traverse south, or subside. It’s like they’re literally culturally allergic to the valleys that all “it” items eventually tumble down. Maybe it’s because they’re hyper masculine, versatile without attempting to be a Swiss Army Knife, and are the one item, save leather jackets that ride the line between rugged and sleek, aggressive and polished. Brand’s like Timberland and Android Homme show the range the boot has, from rustic to futura, and all things in between. Personally, I trend toward Android, and here’s why. But under no circumstance will I circumvent a pair of Timbs. I felt like fucking Ma$e when I got my first pair as a kid in the late 90’s.   Having said all that, here are some of the must have essentials for Autumn, the ideal season for boots. Boots are so autumn, they should all…

Coveting The Highly Secretive Brilliant Line Kollar. 10 Must Have Pieces.

KOLLAR CLOTHING ( *CALLˈER )  IS AN ART FORM RATHER THAN A PIECE OF CLOTH THAT IS WORN” So reads the first paragraph from Canadian/Slovakian clothing line Kollar. Kollar prides itself on being less streetwear, less luxury, and more sartorial modern art. Before the line was launched, countless hours were spent perfecting fit, detail, construction, and framing of each piece, be it footwear of denim, t shirt to accessory. Kollar is unapologetically funky and avant garde, while never “overdoing it”- keeping in mind that innovation is sometimes refined and simplistic. Kollar is also rather popular for being niche and hard to find, only distributing garments to handpicked boutiques that share character and lifestyle, and do not believe in overexposure or hype. Here are 10 essentials from this new hard to find, and harder to predict line from The 6/Eastern Europe. 10. KOLLAR CHELSEA BOOT  The boot has a tall height and flat toe…

Marilyn Manson + Lil Uzi Vert Are Dropping A Song & We Styled The Video.

The internet has been made aware. It’s officially a new era. Growing up in the 90’s – I remember Marilyn Manson was the anti-fucking-everything. He was anti pop. Anti hiphop. Anti God. Anti Hero. Anti You and Anti Me. He was the most controversial goth metal figure of the era, even taking his stage name from two iconic dual spectrum pop culture icons. One was the biggest sex symbol of all time, the other a brutal satanic serial killer. He roasted Bill O’reilly on his own show after he was blamed for causing the mass school shooting at Colombine in 99. Now, it’s 20 years removed from his wild heyday. And he’s still breaking necks with his wild card moves. This time however, it’s because his most recent single, a record entitled “WE KNOW WHERE YOU FUCKING LIVE.”- is set to feature the flavor of the moment trap rapper Lil…

Up Late With NIGHT:SHIFT. The Q&A

They don’t destroy waxed denim, they don’t drop exclusive kicks for the collectors in Japan, and they don’t even get invited any NYFW after parties, let alone get a showing. Well, because it’s true. Because every now and then, someone sees whats missing, and creates a wildly out there, yet perfect answer to not only suit a need, but blaze a trail. Meet NIGHT:SHIFT.
